#R1# White has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from White there as he acknowledges the shot. White tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Polichev swivels and escapes. White tries to clinch but Polichev moves out of range. #CL# White moves into the clinch. White wants to take the fight to the mat but Polichev manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Polichev has had enough of the clinch but White keeps him there for the moment. That's going to take a lot out of him. White is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Polichev gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Polichev should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. White has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Polichev fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Ivan Polichev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Polichev misses with a looping right. White steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Polichev. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# White fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Polichev to the ground. White is now in Polichev's guard. Polichev being controlled here, momentarily. Polichev can't keep his opponent in guard - White advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. #T1# Polichev is trying to stand.

#SUB# White is looking for a kimura but Polichev is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for White to get the leverage. Well, if White is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
White prevents Polichev from improving his position. Polichev has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. White is working away from the top position though.#T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Polichev is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but White is staying active. Polichev keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. #SU# White gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Polichev lands a body shot.
Polichev tries to clinch but White moves out of range. #TD# White shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Polichev's guard.#SU# White stands up and waves to Polichev to follow him. #TD# White scores with a takedown into Polichev's guard.#T3# White stays in close to Polichev's body and controls the position. Polichev is trying to control the position but White postures up. #SU# White stands and steps away. Polichev gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. White tries to close the distance and clinch but Polichev swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. White walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Polichev connects with a jab. Nice shot lands for Polichev. Polichev misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
White slips a straight right by Polichev.#T4##CL# White takes the fight into the clinch. White prevents Polichev from breaking the clinch. White stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

#BC# White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A jab from Polichev finds it's way through White's defenses. White uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Polichev.
Polichev with a nice cross. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! White drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Polichev connects with a nice looking jab.

White shoots in for a takedown but Polichev shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ivan Polichev will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.#R2##CL# Polichev gets tackled into the cage by White. White maintains the clinch. Polichev swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Polichev throws a punch but it's blocked by White. White's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! White holding his opponent close, against the cage.
#TD# White works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Polichev looking to control but White passes into half guard.
White passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Polichev! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White misses with a head shot. White controlling his opponent. #T1# Polichev in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. White manages to capitalize on a mistake by Polichev to take his back!#SUB# White has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. #SUB# White is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Polichev is defending well though. White let's go of the attempt for now. Polichev just trying to survive but White is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. White controlling the position well here. Polichev rolled but White kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
#T2##SUB# White is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Polichev defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Polichev can't escape the position.
Polichev wants to control his opponent's hands but White gets his hands free. Frank White overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Polichev is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
#T3##SUB# White is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Polichev defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. You can see the frustration on Polichev's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
White has good solid back control here. White lands a shot to the body. #T4# White throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Polichev!
Good control from White. Polichev has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from White. White biding his time, controlling Polichev. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#SUB# White has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Frank White dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!#R3# White closes this distance looking for a takedown but Polichev circles away. The fighters circling - Polichev throws out the jab but it was never going to land. White on the wrong end of a nice hook. Polichev dips down and scores with a jab to the body. White is looking to clinch but Polichev is avoiding it.
A big left from Polichev misses. Polichev might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Polichev thuds his right hand into White's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. White throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
White is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Polichev. Polichev throws a jab when White was well out of range. White shoots in for a takedown but Polichev shows good takedown defense. Polichev is looking to clinch. Polichev connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Polichev swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Polichev misses with a looping left. Frank White is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.#T1# Polichev slaps away a takedown attempt from White, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank White. That's going to take a lot out of him. Polichev tries to clinch up. White thinks about countering with a body kick. Polichev lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Polichev, as that shot connected.
Polichev ducks down and throws a hook to the body but White moves away. Polichev misses with the combination.
White uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Polichev. White takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Polichev wants to clinch but White slips to the side#KD# and White counters with a crisp one two that drops Polichev! White thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Polichev to his feet! Polichev is in big trouble!#ROC#Polichev is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!#TD# White is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Polichev is in big trouble! White is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Polichev. Poor guy.
