#R1# Toguchi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Uso defends well and Toguchi ends up having to push Uso into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Toguchi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Uso sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Toguchi somewhat. Jimmy Uso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD# Uso shoots in and bounces Toguchi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Uso controls from within his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Uso content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Uso is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#SUB2# Toguchi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Uso is aware though and is defending well. Uso postures up and lands a big shot to Toguchi's brow. #T1# Uso's corner is telling him to maintain position. Toguchi controls Uso momentarily but Uso frees himself. Uso keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Toguchi's head. Toguchi is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Uso is controlling him. Toguchi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Uso controls the pace. Uso has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Uso pushing down on Toguchi's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Uso looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Uso working over Toguchi with some ground and pound. Toguchi looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.#ROC#Toguchi is rocked! Uso scores with a big shot! Toguchi's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Toguchi! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
