A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jackson is defended easily by Zapata. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson moves out of range of the body kick. That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Duncan tries for a takedown but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Duncan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Duncan goes for a double leg but Jackson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jackson continues to drive forward.#CL# Jackson moves into the clinch successfully.

Jackson throws an elbow but Taylor slips to the side and avoids it well. Jackson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Taylor gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Jackson is keen to just control but Taylor is a slippery customer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson misses with a head shot. Taylor uses the momentum to regain guard. Jackson trying to control but Taylor is working from the bottom.
