#R1# Fokker waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Spann. Nice jab there from Fokker. Spann steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fokker. Spann appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Fokker throws a hook to the side of Spann's head but Spann sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Fokker cracks Spann with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.#KD2# Fokker feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Spann sprawling to the canvas! Spann rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Fokker finish him?!
#ROC2#Spann is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Logan Spann has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fokker ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Spann out cold! The fight is over!

#R1# Spann will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Spann avoids a punch combination nicely.
#TD# Spann shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Trabka napping and manages to drive through into side control!#SUB# Spann thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. #SUB# Spann looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Spann in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Trabka is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Logan Spann decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |
