Rees lands a left hand that snaps the head of Needle backwards. Rees lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Needle is trying to pull guard but Rees has him pressed against the cage.#TD2# Rees has Needle pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Rees pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Needle tumbling to the mat - Rees dives into Needle's guard. Rees wants to pass the guard but Needle is keeping the position. Needle not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Sads is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Rees is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Sads really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Rees postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sads looks a forlorn figure.

That was a close second round but I would say that Carter Simon will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Simon pushes Rees against the cage but Rees circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rees drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Simon defends it well. Simon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rees's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rees's back! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rees tries to escape but Simon has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Rees tries a head kick but it misses.
A combination from Simon does no damage. Rees looks to land a body kick but Simon moved away. As Rees looks to move away, Simon throws a big counter combo but Rees just gets out of the way. Simon misses with a series of wild punches.
