Bitzy throws a lazy uppercut
and Matson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.#CUT2#It looks like Itzy Bitzy has been cut.
Bitzy throws a lazy right hand but Matson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Matson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.#CL2#
Matson closes the distance and pushes Bitzy back into the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bitzy.
Matson working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Matson lands with a right to the head.
Matson has a couple of punches blocked by Bitzy.

Matson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Matson looks to score with a jab to the body but Bitzy is just out of range.
Bitzy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Matson circles away quickly and effectively.

Bitzy ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Bitzy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bitzy there as he acknowledges the shot.
Bitzy lands a really nice looking cross but Matson seems unphased.
Bitzy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Matson was well out of range. Poor timing from Bitzy.

Matson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Matson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bitzy to score with a decent uppercut.

Itzy Bitzy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bitzy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Bitzy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Matson on the side of the head.
Bitzy misses with a hook to the body
and Matson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Matson throws a lazy right hand but Bitzy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bitzy throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Matson to counter with a crisp jab.
Matson moves away from the strike by Bitzy.
Matson looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Matson avoids the body shot from Bitzy.
Matson cracks Bitzy with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bitzy tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Matson pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bitzy is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Bitzy connects with a body shot that sends Lesnar 's belly button to the back.
Lesnar fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nice straight punches there by Bitzy. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bitzy.
Bitzy blocks a head kick by Lesnar .
Nice uppercut there from Bitzy.
Lesnar tries to move into range but Bitzy moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Bitzy connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL#
Lesnar moves into the clinch.
Bitzy is trying to break the clinch but Lesnar has him pressed against the cage.
Lesnar goes for a takedown attempt but Bitzy pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Bitzy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Bitzy is trying to maintain a safe position but Lesnar gets an underhook and turns Bitzy into the cage.
Lesnar tries to score a body lock takedown but Bitzy shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Lesnar . That's going to take a lot out of him.
The referee calls for Lesnar to work.

Lesnar seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bitzy for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Check out the look on Lesnar 's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Lesnar happy to just control the position for now.
Bitzy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lesnar wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lesnar remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Bitzy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lesnar . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Frank Lesnar will probably get the nod.

Lesnar is aggressively charging in as Bitzy backs up avoiding any damage. Bitzy tosses out a jab and Lesnar runs right into it face first! Lesnar is out cold! Bitzy dropped down on all fours and is barking in Lesnar 's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
