Valla feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Simon manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Valla has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Janjan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Janjan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Valla has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Janjan has managed to get both his arms back between Valla's legs - danger averted.

Janjan arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Valla's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Valla fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Valla tries to move into range but Berretta moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Valla tries to clinch there but Berretta circles away.
Valla shoots in looking for a takedown but Berretta manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Valla's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Valla goes for a high kick. It partially lands.#KD#
