#R1# Mustafa tries to bum rush Pupa Jr with a series of wild strikes but Pupa Jr uses good footwork to avoid the assault.#TD# Pupa Jr scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Mustafa wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Pupa Jr trying to control the action but Mustafa is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mustafa wants to get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pupa Jr will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1##REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.#KD2# Mustafa drops Pupa Jr with a beautiful combination! Mustafa paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Mustafa blocks a head kick by Pupa Jr.
Pupa Jr throws a wild hook but Mustafa just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Pupa Jr gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Mustafa raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

#R1# Hadzo throws a looping overhand right but Pupa Jr ducks down to avoid it. Hadzo misses with a hook. Pupa Jr ducked under it nicely. Hadzo tries to close the distance and clinch but Pupa Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pupa Jr steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Hadzo. Pupa Jr with a poor takedown enabling Hadzo to counter with a crisp jab. Pupa Jr throws a head kick that misses. We've been hearing reports that Hadzo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Pupa Jr slips a straight right by Hadzo. Pupa Jr swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

#CL# and Hadzo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hadzo. Hadzo tries for a takedown but Pupa Jr manages to get underhooks.
Pupa Jr is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hadzo goes for a takedown attempt but Pupa Jr pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Pupa Jr closes the distance and clinches up with Hadzo, looking for a takedown. Pupa Jr pushes Hadzo against the cage but Hadzo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. An attempted straight right counter from Hadzo misses the target. Denis Hadzo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Augusto Pupa Jr. Nice jab there from Hadzo. #T1##TD# Hadzo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pupa Jr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hadzo advances to mount. Hadzo trying to control but Pupa Jr is having none of it. Hadzo controlling the pace for now. Pupa Jr is looking to improve his position but Hadzo isn't that keen on the idea.#T2# Hadzo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Hadzo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Pupa Jr keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
