Bat looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bat slips under a jab from Shimada.
Shimada with a nice cross.
Shimada looks to throw the jab but Bat is out of range.
Bat fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shimada avoids it really well and circles away.
Shimada lands a really nice looking cross but Bat seems unphased.

Shimada cracks a nice hook into Bat's ribs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bat throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shimada changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Shimada throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Shimada, as that shot connected.
Bat is still on wobbly legs! Can Shimada finish him?
Shimada fakes the body blow, causing Bat to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Bat goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Bat fails with the takedown.

Bat is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bat throws an overhand right that lands on Zayer Jr's shoulder, as Zayer Jr tries to avoid the shot.
Zayer Jr circles away from the clinch attempt.

Zayer Jr has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bat clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!#SUB#

Rose moves into the clinch successfully.
Bat trying to stall but Rose improves his position.

Rose drags the fight down to the ground.
Bat throws an elbow that misses. Rose uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bat's guard. Nice move by Rose!#REVB#
Bat will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Rose wants to control from the top but Bat keeps moving.
Rose controls from within his opponent's guard.
Bat trying to control the position.
Rose throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bat works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rose is thwarting Bat's attempts to control the position.

Bat really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#T1##SUB2#
Rose has hold of Bat's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bat tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rose cranks the arm and Bat screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bat, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

enabling Hicks to counter with a crisp jab.
Bat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hicks throws a counter combo.
Hicks scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bat doesn't seem bothered though.

Oh Bat is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bat throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hicks scores with a shot to the body.
Hicks catches Bat with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Bat forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

The fighters are working up against the cage. Bat manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Bat is pressed up against the cage. OP has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bat down to the mat. Bat avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. #T2#
