Nakamura lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Globe circles away quickly and effectively. Nakamura takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.#TD2# Globe gets a takedown into half guard. Nakamura trying to control but Globe postures up.
Nice strikes from Globe there. Globe looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Nakamura has hold of Globe's hands but Globe slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.#SUB2# Nakamura is defending against the submission attempts here by Globe.

Thorn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Globe was well out of range. Poor timing from Thorn. Lance Thorn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#KD2# Thorn drops Globe with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Globe looks back up at him and smiles so Thorn waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC2#Globe is rocked! A telegraphed right hand from Globe misses the target. Oh Globe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Globe fails to land the takedown. Globe throws a looping overhand right but Thorn ducks down to avoid it. A countering left hand to the body from Thorn misses. Globe seems to have got his legs back now. Thorn just misses with a punch to the body.
Thorn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Globe manages to avoid it. Globe ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Thorn uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Globe. Thorn connects with a body shot that sends Globe's belly button to the back. Thorn dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Globe is breathing heavily. Thorn finds Globe's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Globe flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Thorn lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Globe will be OK.

#R1# Globe staying out of range there. Mulroney looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Horrible takedown attempt by Globe or perhaps it was just good defense by Mulroney, which made it look bad. Rufus Globe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Globe throws a body punch but Mulroney moves out of range. Globe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A little feinted left hand from Mulroney on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Globe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mulroney. A nice leg kick lands there from Mulroney. Globe stuns Mulroney with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mulroney connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Globe misses with a jab to the body

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Gean shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Globe as he avoids it easily. Gean dives in and grabs Globe's left leg, looking for a takedown. Globe pushes down on Gean's head and hops out.#CL# Globe clinches. Globe is looking for a takedown. Globe has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gean avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Gean prevents a takedown attempt there.

Dover is working Globe over with some ground and pound from side control. Dover has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Globe manages to get back to half guard. Globe trying to control but Dover postures up.
Dover looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Globe with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Dover lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Dover slips a nice elbow through Globe's hands, connecting with Globe's forehead. Globe is pressing down on Dover's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
