Horrible takedown attempt by Cockatiel or perhaps it was just good defense by Van Der Livery, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Treacherous Cockatiel. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Van Der Livery lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Cockatiel up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Van Der Livery from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Cockatiel's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
