Donnie Baker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexei Obolensky. Obolensky tries to score a body lock takedown but Baker shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Baker tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Obolensky has Baker pressed against the cage, preventing Baker from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Obolensky wants a takedown.
Baker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Obolensky changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Baker fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Obolensky seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Obolensky wants to free his trapped foot but Dillinger is holding on for dear life with his legs. Obolensky takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Obolensky is looking to take a break and control but Dillinger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dillinger taking some punishment here, with Obolensky in his half guard. #CUT#It looks like Alexei Obolensky has been cut. Obolensky with a poor takedown and Contra connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. No joy there for Contra, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Obolensky gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Contra counters with a nice uppercut. Contra looks to land a right hand but Obolensky moved out of range. Sloppy strikes from Contra. Those never looked like landing. Obolensky moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Contra defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Obolensky. Quail Contra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexei Obolensky. Obolensky fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Contra avoids it really well and circles away. Obolensky tries to score a power double leg takedown but Contra sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Obolensky somewhat. Contra swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Obolensky with a lazy takedown attempt and Contra counters with a left and a right that stings Obolensky. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Contra fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Contra manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A punch lands to the side of Obolensky 's head but he takes it in his stride. Contra tries to bum rush Obolensky with a series of wild strikes but Obolensky uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Obolensky shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Contra counter with a right hand. Contra swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Obolensky. Contra lands a jab to the nose. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Obolensky is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Obolensky makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Obolensky. Obolensky is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Obolensky is on top in guard.
