Jeffries throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ra tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jeffries is in Ra's guard.
Jeffries wants to get up but he can't break Ra's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Jeffries trying to control but Ra is working from the bottom.
Ra thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Jeffries distracts Ra with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Ra pulls Jeffries in close to his closed guard and prevents Jeffries from doing any damage or advancing position.
Jeffries is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ra looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jeffries is one step ahead there.
