Granger Stoll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stoll fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Fernandez out cold! Brutal finish!

Ding Dong looks for a takedown but Fernandez sprawls well. Fernandez is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.#CL2# Fernandez darts in and clinches Ding Dong up against the cage. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fernandez has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Fernandez shoots in but Zig avoids the takedown attempt easily. Zig is looking for a counter combo. Fernandez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fernandez shoots in but no luck this time. Zig Zig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fran Fernandez.
