Valdez takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Valdez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tesla to score with a decent uppercut.
We've been hearing reports that Valdez has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Tesla moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Crunch! Tesla slams his shin into Valdez's torso.

Tesla's coach down at Elite Island Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tesla's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Tesla lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Glock Tesla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tesla circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Valdez drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Tesla follows Valdez to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Valdez has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Romergo Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
