And in the blue corner, fighting out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Kieran Chan! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.#CL2# Chan clinches up against the cage. Chan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Pendous to keep the fight standing. Pendous has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Chan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Chan drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pendous is trying to drag Chan to the mat but Chan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.#TD# Pendous turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pendous manages to end up in side control. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Pendous swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Goon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pendous. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Goon scores with a push kick. Pendous misses with a straight right. Goon lands a high kick!
Goon tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Pendous connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#T1# Goon throws a head kick that Pendous semi-blocks.

It connects and Pendous has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Ike Goon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pendous looks to score with a jab to the body but Goon is just out of range. Whack! Goon lands a heavy head kick that drops Pendous. The ref tackles Goon to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Pendous was done.

Pendous throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Pendous takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. We've been told by McFoy's head coaches at MMA Amsterdam that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Pendous gets cracked there but stands up to it.

#R1# Snake shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Pendous counters with a left to the body. Snake looks winded! Snake doesn't succeed with the takedown and Pendous counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Pendous works the jab nicely. Nice shot lands for Pendous. Pendous scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pendous works Snake's body with a nice hook. Pendous connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.#ROC#Snake is rocked!#KD# Pendous drops Snake with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Snake looks back up at him and smiles so Pendous waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
