Sidorov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kortenhorst's waist but Kortenhorst gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sidorov off to one side. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sidorov is defended easily by Kortenhorst. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Sidorov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sidorov shoots in for a double leg but Kortenhorst sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sidorov shoots for a double leg takedown but Kortenhorst sprawls well. He's pushed Sidorov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sidorov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kortenhorst.

#R1# Personal Space lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kortenhorst is trying hard to land a takedown here. Personal Space sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A little jabbing left from Personal Space on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Personal Space waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kortenhorst. Personal Space stuffs the takedown attempt from Kortenhorst. Kortenhorst gets slowly back to his feet. #TD# Personal Space gets caught napping as Kortenhorst dives in and scores a takedown. Personal Space manages to retain guard. Personal Space trying to control the position.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Fajardo working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fajardo landing strikes from the mount and Kortenhorst is in trouble! Fajardo in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Kortenhorst pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ning tumbling to the mat - Kortenhorst dives into Ning 's guard. Kortenhorst slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Ning is trying to improve his position. Kortenhorst trying to control the position but Ning is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Kortenhorst is working to tighten his grip on Ning 's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ning has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kortenhorst is really squeezing tight and eventually Ning passes out!
