A lazy left from Taylor finds it's target. Myers needs to keep his hands up - Taylor had a free shot at his head there. Taylor looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Taylor lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Taylor connects with a single shot there. Myers throws a leg kick which misses Taylor's front leg but catches the back leg as Taylor tries to avoid it. Taylor ducks right into an uppercut from Myers. Myers misses with a double jab.

Taylor throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Taylor closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Myers feints and then cracks Taylor's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Taylor down. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Taylor has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. A big left from Myers misses. Taylor keeping full guard, as Bin-Semen tries to pass. #SUB# Taylor has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bin-Semen is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Taylor. Taylor's coaches at Bigfoot BJJ have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. That was a close round but I would say that Mick Taylor will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over.
