Blix seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

and Blix counters by moving into the clinch.
Blix prevents a body shot from Ahmed.
Ahmed blocks a body shot from Blix.
Blix tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Ahmed tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ahmed.

Blix drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ahmed sprawls and moves away.
Blix tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ahmed manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Taylor fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ahmed! But no joy.
Taylor shoots in looking for a takedown. Ahmed tries to sprawl out of it but Taylor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ahmed manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
