We've been told by Cifaretto's head coaches at Top of Food Chain that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Lahey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd cheers as Cifaretto lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lahey doesn't seem phased though. Cifaretto needs to keep his hands up - Lahey had a free shot at his head there. Lahey plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Cifaretto to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Cifaretto just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Levesque has a takedown stuffed. Nice shot by Lahey. Levesque on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Lahey wobbles Levesque with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Lahey dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Levesque to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Lahey tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Lahey throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Reddick. Lahey shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Reddick eats them both and turns towards Lahey to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#CUT#It looks like Calico Reddick has been cut. The fighters circling - Lahey throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Lahey walks into a stiff left hand from Reddick. Lahey just misses with a punch to the body.

That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Spartan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Spartan seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Sandcastle fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lahey is out of range. Lahey slips under a jab. Lahey lands with a shot to the body. Lahey darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Lahey takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Lahey comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.#KD# Lahey cracks Sandcastle with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sandcastle looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lahey finish him?

Lahey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Glass takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Sloppy strikes from Lahey. Those never looked like landing. Sabel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.#TD2# Sabel throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lahey was covering up waiting for the punch and Sabel finishes the takedown easily into guard. #SUB# Lahey had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sabel defends it easily. Lahey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sabel on the ground. Lahey keeping moving, preventing Sabel from controlling successfully. Sabel keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lahey's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sabel cracks Lahey with a solid left hand. Sabel loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sabel keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lahey's head.#T1# Lahey avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lahey is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sabel with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Sabel with a nice head shot there.
