#R1##CL2# Matter gets a clinch. Matter's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Matter's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Matter wants to take the fight to the mat but Sanders manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Matter tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sanders's elbow. Matter gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sanders.
Matter tries to pull guard but Sanders forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Matter is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Bob Sanders has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grey Matter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Matter missing with knees to the body.
#TD2# Matter gets a trip takedown into half guard. Still in half guard, Matter seems content to control. Sanders controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Sanders is breathing heavily.#T1# Matter is controlling the pace.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Matter's guard. Matter looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sanders is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Matter pulls down on the head and he's put Sanders to sleep! This one is all over!

Montgomery lets Sanders back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#CUT#It looks like Bob Sanders has been cut. Sanders looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Montgomery ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Montgomery darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Sanders's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Montgomery before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Graves lands a body shot. Graves lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Sanders or not. A short left from Graves. Graves lands a body shot in the clinch.
Graves lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sanders backwards. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.#BC2# Graves's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A jab from Graves does it's job there. Sanders gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Graves gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Sanders is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Sanders pushing down on Long's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Sanders is keen to just control but Long is a slippery customer. Long is looking to improve his position.
Sanders wants to pass the guard but Long is defending well. Sanders scoring with strikes to the body and head. #SUB2# Sanders seems to be working for a kimura but Long defends the submission attempt. Sanders with the ground and pound but Long uses the opportunity to regain guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!#SUB# Messier is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sanders has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Island lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sanders backwards. Sanders tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Island smiles and moves away.
Sanders ducks under a wild hook from Island. Island's coach down at PhoQus Island Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Island's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.#CL2# Island forces Sanders back against the cage and clinches. A right handed body shot lands from Island.
Island presses Sanders against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Island lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
