Smart connects with a right hand. Hipfury shakes it off.
Nice uppercut lands for Smart. That snapped Hipfury's head back.
Smart throws a shot from downtown. Hipfury moves away and avoids it.
Smart throws out a loose jab but Hipfury uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hipfury is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Hipfury shoots in but Smart avoids the takedown attempt easily.#CL#
Smart closes the distance and clinches.
Smart's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hipfury is trying to pull guard but Smart has him pressed against the ropes.
Hipfury is trying to drag Smart to the mat but Smart just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Dorendus Smart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cal Hipfury.

Smart keeps control of Hipfury as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Smart seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Hipfury tries a knee to the head but Smart blocks it.
Hipfury tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Smart smiles and moves away.
Smart looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hipfury shoots in but Smart avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Smart throws a lazy uppercut
and Hipfury counters with a three punch combo that has Smart backing up. Smart nods at Hipfury to acknowledge the strikes.
Smart throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hipfury drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Smart defends it well.#T2#
Hipfury uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Smart.
Hipfury throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Smart circles away from the clinch attempt
and Smart counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #CL2#
Hipfury clinches with his opponent.
Smart stalls.
Smart is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. #BC2#
Hipfury breaks from the clinch.
Hipfury looks to land a left hand but Smart moved out of range nicely.
Smart throws a body punch but Hipfury moves out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smart swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Well Smart has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Six fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smart, pushing him back against the cage.
Smart is struggling to control the position.
Six tries to pull guard but Smart holds him up against the cage and eventually Six drops back down to his feet.
Six looking for a takedown.
Smart pressing his opponent against the cage.
Smart holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Smart leaning against his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Six is trying to force a seperation but Smart has the dominant position.
Six will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Smart up against the cage.
Come on Smart - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Well Smart has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
