Freitas wants to control but Browne postures up. Freitas is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Browne has just dragged him back down to the mat. Freitas is looking to regain half guard here but Browne keeps moving and retains side control. Browne controls the position from side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Freitas tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Browne wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Browne scoring with punches and elbows. #T1##SUB2# Browne wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Freitas, who protects the arm well. Browne is looking to take a break and control but Freitas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Freitas struggling a bit here. Despite being in a bad position, Freitas is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts. Freitas looking very determined here, making life difficult for Browne.

#R1# Freitas defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Morimoto.#TD# Morimoto bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. You can see the frustration on Freitas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Freitas is working to avoid the ground and pound but Morimoto connects with a decent elbow. Freitas is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Morimoto asserts his dominance and retains side control. Morimoto tries to score with some ground and pound. Freitas controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Freitas is positioning himself to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Freitas takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

#R1# Marshall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Freitas. Freitas throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Freitas on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. No luck for Freitas with that takedown attempt. Marshall definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Freitas throws a push kick but Marshall slaps the foot to one side. Marshall scores with a shot to the body.
Freitas takes one to the chin there.#CL2# Freitas instigates a clinch. #TD2# Freitas gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Marshall scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Freitas manages to mount him!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Freitas with shots to the head and body - Marshall looks very uncomfortable down there. Oh Marshall is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Freitas postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Marshall out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Freitas goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Kota seems a little lost for a moment, as Freitas dominates the positioning. The ground and pound from Freitas seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Freitas is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Freitas lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kota down.
Kota tries to escape but Freitas is in control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Freitas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fontaine tries to avoid it but Freitas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fontaine to the ground. Fontaine escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Freitas tries to clinch but Fontaine moves out of range. Fontaine takes a swing at Freitas's ribcage but misses. Freitas doesn't manage to clinch there - Fontaine circles away.
Fontaine fires out a quick counter leg kick but Freitas just manages to avoid it. Freitas takes a body punch but keeps moving. Freitas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fontaine paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fontaine appears to be looking for a big counter. Freitas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fontaine moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Fontaine misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
