Nice elbow from McKenna. McKenna can't break the clinch.
#TD# McKenna gets control of Cole's arms and successfully pulls guard. McKenna will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.#SUB# McKenna looking for a triangle here. Buticchio moves out of range of the body kick from Cole.
Buticchio cracks a nice hook into Cole's ribs. Buticchio works Cole's body with a nice hook. Cole moves forwards but Buticchio connects with a nice, crisp jab. Buticchio lands with a straight right. Cole didn't see that one coming. Cole on the wrong end of a nice jab.#TD2# Cole shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Buticchio napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!#SUB2# Cole wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Buticchio, who protects the arm well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Buticchio is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Buticchio wants to improve his position but Cole is controlling well.

Cole Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. #T1# Buticchio is trying to escape the position but Cole is controlling the position. Chase Cole showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Cole doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Van Kloot fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Van Kloot scores with a spinning back kick! Cole tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Cole tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Van Kloot manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.#TD2# Van Kloot dives in and scores a takedown into Cole's guard. Van Kloot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cole. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cole wants to stand but Van Kloot is controlling the position. #R1# Chi feints a jab promting Cole to slip. Chi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cole slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Cole gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Chi. Chi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Chi circles away from the clinch attempt.
#TD# Cole changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Cole throws an elbow but Chi slips to the side and avoids it well.#SU# Cole has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Chi jabs Cole to the body, keeping him at a distance. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chi cracks a nice hook into Cole's ribs.#CL# Cole rushes Chi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.#BC2# Chi breaks the clinch.
#TD# Cole looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Chi! Cole keeps control of the position as Chi tries to break free.
