Mikiaev shoots in looking for a takedown. Petrov tries to sprawl out of it but Mikiaev keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Petrov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Petrov shoots in but Mikiaev avoids the takedown attempt easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Mikiaev looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mikiaev shoots in for a takedown but Petrov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mikiaev moves in looking to clinch but Petrov pushes him off. Mikiaev shoots for a takedown but Petrov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dmitriy Petrov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now.
