Jackson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. #SUB# Destroyer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Destroyer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jackson struggling a bit here. A lull in the action here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Destroyer tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. #T1# Jackson prevents Destroyer from moving into mount. Destroyer has knee on belly and moves into mount. #SUB# Destroyer has control of Jackson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jackson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

David keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jackson's head. David lands a couple of decent looking shots. David with a flurry of punches that miss. David lands a couple of elbows. David is pushing down on Jackson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jackson is fighting to maintain full guard but David has managed to sneak the leg through. David lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. David lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. David wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy. Jackson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but David scores with a couple of nice shots. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! David lands a big shot. More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Jackson! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Charles Jackson had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 150.0, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Steven Maxwell was cancelled. |

Jackson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ball pinned against the cage. Ball gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ball tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jackson swivels and escapes. Jackson jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Jackson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackson wants it to stay on the feet. Jackson wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.#CL2# Ball forces Jackson back against the cage and clinches. Ball throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Ball tries to break free but Jackson pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Ball has clasped his hands together around Jackson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. I was talking to Jackson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A battle for position here, against the cage. Jackson pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Ball blocks the elbow strike.

Kirsnick Khari Ball seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ball plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Nice sprawl there from Jackson as Ball shoots in. That was a close round but I would say that Charles Jackson will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Franklin throws a right hand that Jackson ducks under and follows up with a left that Jackson also avoids with ease. Jackson wants to counter the offense by Franklin and move into the clinch position. Franklin looks to land a left hand but Jackson moved out of range nicely. Jackson moves out of range as Franklin strikes.#TD2# Jackson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Franklin quickly recovers to half guard. Jackson prevents Franklin from standing back up.

Mora drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Jackson right on the button. Jackson goes down! Mora follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Mora gets the win via TKO!
