Horrible takedown attempt by Souza or perhaps it was just good defense by McSlide, which made it look bad.
McSlide is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Souza throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McSlide's waist but McSlide gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Souza off to one side.
McSlide looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Josue Souza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Souza dives in for a single leg takedown but McSlide sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
