Jassim shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Byn pinned against the cage. Byn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jassim closes the distance and clinches up with Byn, looking for a takedown. Jassim pushes Byn against the cage but Byn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Byn throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Jassim.
Jassim avoids the head kick by Byn.
Byn lands with a kick to the temple. Jassim shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" #CUT#It looks like Mo Jassim has been cut.
Mo Jassim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jassim shoots in for a takedown but Byn shows good takedown defense.
Yasin Byn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mo Jassim.
Jassim blocks a head kick by Byn.

Jassim fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Byn sprawls well initially but Jassim persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Byn is looking to get back to is feet but Jassim passes into side control.
Byn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jassim on the ground.

Jassim is working to tighten his grip on Byn's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Byn has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jassim is really squeezing tight and eventually Byn passes out! Jassim breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Jassim shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jassim was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jassim is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Byn will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2#
Jassim is trying to get an arm triangle but Byn is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Byn prevents Jassim from improving position.
Jassim has knee on belly and moves into mount. #SUB2#
Jassim is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Byn to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Byn shrugs it off.
