Pignon walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Sandmann throws out a powerful jab. Sandmann swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
#TD# and Pignon counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Sandmann! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!#SUB# Pignon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. #SUB# Pignon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sandmann knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. #SUB# Pignon goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sandmann has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Pignon but great work by Sandmann. Sandmann connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Pignon some visible discomfort.
#ROC2#Pignon is rocked! Sandmann scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Pignon is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Sandmann can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
