Poe drops back looking for a leg! Ooldbekkink is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ooldbekkink manages to kick Poe off! Poe jumps back into Ooldbekkink's guard.
Poe working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ooldbekkink's head.#SUB2#
Poe is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Poe sitting in guard here, content to control.
Ooldbekkink working a defensive guard but Poe manages to pass into side control anyway.
Ooldbekkink taking punishment in the form of punches.
Ooldbekkink could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#SUB2#
Poe has hold of Ooldbekkink's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Ooldbekkink seems comfortable defending it but Poe has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Ooldbekkink is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ooldbekkink is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Poe couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Poe closes the distance and pushes Gonzalez back into the cage.
Poe tries for a takedown but Gonzalez manages to get underhooks.

Poe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Poe shoots in and drives through. Gonzalez sprawls well.
Poe shoots for a takedown but Gonzalez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hannibel Poe. That's going to take a lot out of him.#CL#
Poe closes the distance and clinches.
Poe fails to pull guard.

Poe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Poe is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gonzalez looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.#CL#

Poe is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Gonzalez to keep the fight standing.

Poe tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gonzalez smiles and moves away.
Gonzalez slips a jab and a cross from Poe.
Gonzalez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hannibel Poe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Poe dives in and grabs Gonzalez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gonzalez pushes down on Poe's head and hops out.
Poe throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gonzalez swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.#TD#
Poe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. #T2#
Poe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gonzalez keeps working.

Poe is looking to take a break and control but Gonzalez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Poe tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Gonzalez wants to control but Poe postures up.
Poe creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gonzalez sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Gonzalez parries the strikes from Poe easily there. Poe is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gonzalez to escape.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Poe tries to clinch but Gonzalez moves out of range.
Poe fails with the takedown.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hannibel Poe dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.#R2#
