Buster has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Buster in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buster creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. #R1##TD# Buster shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bernabei napping and manages to drive through into side control! Buster in side control lands a decent elbow. Bernabei being controlled for a moment. Buster grinds an elbow into Bernabei's temple. Buster is putting a hurting on Bernabei here, landing some big shots from side control. Bernabei gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Bernabei trying to control here.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Ogrady looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#TD# Buster looking to score a takedown here. Ogrady is defending well but Buster drives through and ends up in Ogrady's guard. Buster really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Buster content to stall in guard here. Buster postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Buster lands a couple of decent looking shots. Buster working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ogrady's head. Buster lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Buster controls from within his opponent's guard. Ogrady has momentary wrist control but Buster slips an elbow through the middle.#T1# Buster with a nice head shot there. Buster works a leg free and moves into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buster seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ogrady is in trouble now - Buster has advanced to mount! Buster cracks Ogrady with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The referee warns Ogrady that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Buster tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Buster looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Ogrady covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

#R1# Marcos fails in his attempt to clinch. #TD# Buster bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Buster is chipping away with strikes.
Buster cracks Marcos with an elbow. That is naaassty. Marcos tries to buck Buster off but Buster is having none of it. Buster lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Marcos down.
Buster in side control lands a decent elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Buster staying calm. Marcos tries to get back to half guard but can't. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Marcos taking a bit of punishment here - Buster scoring with strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Buster scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Marcos to see if he's OK. #R1##TD# Buster closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Notorious punching from the bottom.

Buster has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Notorious tries to kick Buster off but Buster keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Buster is thwarting Notorious's attempts to control the position.
