Ippo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Santos's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Santos duly obliges.
Santos tests Ippo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Santos uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.#KD2#
Santos drops Ippo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ippo looks back up at him and smiles so Santos waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed. #ROC2#Ippo is rocked!
Santos's coach down at Special Ops N7 Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Santos's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Santos fakes the body blow, causing Ippo to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Ippo goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Some wild striking there from Ippo.
Kimaheave has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tappelukerho in the buildup to the fight.
Ippo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kimaheave dodges the punch combination from Ippo.
As Ippo looks to move away, Kimaheave throws a big counter combo but Ippo just gets out of the way.#TD#
Kimaheave shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kimaheave showed some decent athleticism there. #SUB#
Kimaheave seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ippo is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Kimaheave bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Price throws a shot to the body.

Ippo is looking to get back to is feet but Price passes into side control.
Price cracks Ippo with a big right hand but Ippo just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Price has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Price lands a few punches from side control.#SUB2#
Price has hold of Ippo's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ippo tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Price cranks the arm and Ippo screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ippo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Clifford Price!

Rurov in side control lands a decent elbow.
Rurov scores with a couple of short elbows.
Rurov controls the position.
Rurov scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Ippo to see if he's OK.
Ippo is letting Rurov control him for a moment.
Rurov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Ippo tries to lock up and control but Rurov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Rurov cracks Ippo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Ippo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rurov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T2#
Rurov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Rurov seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ippo for as long as he can get away with.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ippo tries to reverse the position but Rurov maintains control.

Dinny looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Ippo is defending well. Dinny quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Ippo has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Dinny celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
