Marx will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Karl Marx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marx is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jones.
Good leg kick by Jones.
Jones throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Jones thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Marx if he has to take too many more of those.
Jones slips a jab and a cross from Marx.
Marx throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Marx throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Marx looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Payne throws a looping overhand right but Marx ducks down to avoid it.

No joy there for Marx, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Matson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Marx to score with a decent uppercut.

Marx walks straight into a right hand from Matson - that's dropped him! Matson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Marx from any more punishment! Marx complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Kanne seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Marx sizes up Kanne with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

and Kanne counters with a straight right hand.
Kanne seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Marx shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Kanne is backing up but Marx catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Kanne covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Marx Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Marx feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jackson sprawling to the canvas! Jackson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Marx finish him?!

Jackson shoots in for a double leg but Marx sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Marx keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Marx fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jackson is out of range.
Marx pounces like a tiger and cracks Jackson with a vicious hook! Jackson is down but not out! Marx follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
