Trevena throws a jab when Smit was well out of range.
Smit shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Trevena sprawls well. Trevena wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Smit gets slowly back to his feet.

Smit shoots for a takedown but Trevena saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Trevena misses with a looping right.
Smit steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Trevena.

Fitzpatrick takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Fitzpatrick looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Fitzpatrick is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Trevena throws the left hand but Fitzpatrick avoids the punch easily.

Fitzpatrick 's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Trevena connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fitzpatrick scrambles back to his feet.
