Soederblom fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Soederblom connects with a crisp jab.
Allan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Soederblom.
A little feinted left hand from Allan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Soederblom has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

and Allan counters with a nice uppercut.

River 's coach down at The Factory was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on River 's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
River lands with a right hand.
Allan ducks under a wild hook from River .
Allan throws a body shot but no joy.
River appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Allan tests River 's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Allan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
River doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Allan connects with the punch.
Allan throws a right and a left that both miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Allan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
