#R1# Bob swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hughes counters with a nice body shot. Bob with a lazy takedown attempt and Hughes counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Bob tries to clinch up and Hughes counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Bob looks to clinch and Hughes counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hughes shoots in for a double leg but Bob sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bob tries to clinch but fails miserably and Hughes counters with a nice body shot. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hughes is defended easily by Bob. Bob lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.#T1# Bob throws a lazy body kick and Hughes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bob misses with a takedown attempt and Hughes counters with a straight right hand. Bob stuffs the takedown. Bob tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adrian Hughes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bob shoots and misses and Hughes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hughes misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bob gets off balance looking for a body kick and Hughes counters with a nice body shot. #TD2# Bob darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.#T2# Bob looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hughes is refusing to be controlled, as Bob sits in half guard. Hughes regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bob. #SUB# Hughes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bob doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bob manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bob looking to sit in guard and control but Hughes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR##T3# Bob keeping moving, preventing Hughes from controlling successfully. Hughes wants to stand but Bob is controlling his posture from full guard. Hughes wants to control from the top but Bob keeps moving. Bob wants to hit a sweep here but Hughes passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bob there! Bob is trying desperately to improve position.#T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hughes trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bob tries to lock up and control but Hughes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bob working to try and regain half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#SUB# Hughes looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Hughes trying to control but Bob is having none of it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!#R2# Bob closes the distance but Hughes moves to the side and Hughes counters with a left to the body. Bob doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hughes counters with a right hand to the body. Bob really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hughes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bob tries to get to full guard but Hughes has control of the leg. Hughes is trying to control. Bob wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. No luck this time Hughes. Hughes is looking to take a break and control but Bob is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bob is looking to improve his position.
Hughes has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Hughes stops Bob from getting back to his feet.

Bob might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hughes haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Bob has his takedown stuffed and Hughes counters with a nice uppercut. Hughes is looking to wear down Bob with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Bob moves to clinch but Hughes breaks away and Hughes counters with a stiff right hand. Hughes is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bob can do to turn this around? Bob tries for a takedown but Hughes circles away easily and Hughes counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Bob takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.#T2# Bob gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hughes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bob with a poor takedown and Hughes counters with a crisp right that sends Bob to the canvas! Hughes follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
