Boonga fails with an attempt to clinch.
Boonga tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boonga tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Boonga changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ware tries to avoid it but Boonga manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ware to the ground. Ware escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ware bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Boonga's head.

Ware feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Boonga sprawling to the canvas! Boonga rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ware finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boonga manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Strickland keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

We've been informed that Boonga has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
