#R1# Hughes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Forde tries to avoid it but Hughes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Forde to the ground. Forde escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Forde half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Hughes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Forde as he jumps to the side. Hughes takes a shot right to the bread basket. Forde throws a right hand that Hughes ducks under and follows up with a left that Hughes also avoids with ease. A countering left hand to the body from Hughes misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hughes closes the distance and clinches up with Forde, looking for a takedown. Hughes pushes Forde against the cage but Forde circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Joshua Forde has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adrian Hughes.#TD# Forde shoots in and bounces Hughes off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Forde controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. #T1# Forde is in close to Hughes's body, working some short punches and elbows. Forde works over Hughes with some ground and pound from guard. Horrible takedown attempt by Hughes or perhaps it was just good defense by Forde, which made it look bad. Forde throws a big counter combination but Hughes scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Forde misses with a takedown attempt and Hughes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Forde lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Forde slaps away a takedown attempt from Hughes, before circling back to the center of the mat. As Hughes looks to move away, Forde throws a big counter combo but Hughes just gets out of the way.#T1# Forde doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hughes counters with a stiff right hand. That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#TD# Forde looking to score a takedown here. Kuznetsov is defending well but Forde drives through and ends up in Kuznetsov's guard. Forde stands up over Kuznetsov, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Forde cracks Kuznetsov with a solid left hand. Forde landing with the ground and pound. #ROC#Kuznetsov is rocked! Kuznetsov being controlled here, momentarily. Kuznetsov is still in real trouble! Can Forde finish him? Forde makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Forde's corner is telling him to maintain position. Forde scores with a decent looking elbow strike. #R1# Lo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Lo pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Forde displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Forde lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Forde. Forde fails with an attempt to clinch.

Forde lands a two punch combo.
Lo closes the distance and clinches up with Forde, looking for a takedown. Lo pushes Forde against the cage but Forde circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fighters circling - Lo throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Forde tries to clinch #TD2# and Lo counters with a single leg into guard. Forde didn't expect that. Forde has his feet on Lo's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Forde throws a head kick that misses. Lo with the counter takedown but Forde avoids it easily. Forde fails to land with a series of punches.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lo! But no joy. Lo shoots in looking for a takedown. Forde tries to sprawl out of it but Lo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Forde manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. #T1# Forde slips under a jab. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Forde!

Joshua Forde seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick misses from Forde. Forde rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. And Lo tries to counter it with a takedown but Forde pushes his down on his head and steps out. A punch combination from Forde misses. Forde moves away from the strike by Lo. Forde seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. A combination from Forde does no damage. Lo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Forde looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Forde looks to land a combination but Lo avoids it well. And Lo tries to counter it with a takedown but Forde pushes his down on his head and steps out. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Possibly, maybe, no Lo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Forde is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lo is controlling him well.
