Santos's coach down at Brazilian Brawlers was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Santos's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Santos looks to land a combination but Mallin avoids it well.

Mallin moves out of range as Santos strikes.
Santos misses with a jab, cross combination.
Santos moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Alexandre Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mallin moves out of range of the body kick.
Santos throws a sloppy head kick and Mallin moves out of range easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mallin.
Mallin tries a head kick but it misses.
Santos throws a poor cross that misses
and Mallin counters with a body kick that stops Santos in his tracks momentarily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters circle, before Mallin throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Santos's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Mallin lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Santos throws the left hand but Spinner avoids the punch easily.
Santos slips a straight right by Spinner.
Santos lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Santos misses with a series of wild punches.
Spinner takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Spinner stalks Santos and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Santos's face. Santos staggers backwards, shaken.
Sloppy strikes from Spinner. Those never looked like landing.
Santos lands with a right that hurts Spinner. Spinner looks to clinch but Santos throws a short knee that drops Spinner. This one is all over!

Cambria finds Santos's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Santos flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Cambria lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Santos will be OK.
