Bones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Emkic has momentary wrist control but Bones slips an elbow through the middle.

Bones loads up on a big left hand. Emkic felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Bones looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Emkic can't hide his disappointment, as Bones celebrates the victory.
