Ruiz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bishop walks away with a smile on his face. Ruiz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bishop avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bishop seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Ruiz tries to clinch but Bishop is having none of it. #CL# Bishop moves into the clinch successfully.

#R1# Zimmerman lands a jab to the nose. Zimmerman pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ruiz is out of range and Zimmerman settles back down. Zimmerman jabbing away but nothing is landing. Zimmerman connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Zimmerman scores with a decent looking hook. Zimmerman keeps the fight on the outside. Zimmerman darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Nice takedown defense from Zimmerman. No joy for Ruiz on that attempt. Ruiz takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.#ROC2#Ruiz is rocked! Zimmerman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Oh Ruiz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Charania has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Ruiz has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Ruiz drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Charania takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
