Rockford looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Alvarez throws a series of punches but Rockford moves out of range. Rockford takes a swing at Alvarez's ribcage but misses. Alvarez swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Rockford throws out a powerful jab. Rockford throws a good cross that connects.

Rockford is trying to drag Yamasaki to the mat but Yamasaki just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Hideyoshi Yamasaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raine Rockford.
