Gennari looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Gennari dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dukes. That did some damage! #R1# Dukes listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Jones lands with a hook. Dukes tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Jones shoots in for a takedown but Dukes shows good takedown defense. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dukes has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Jones throws a lazy right hand but Dukes sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Dukes misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jones throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
