#R1# Ng fails in his attempt to clinch. A slapping body kick lands there for Ng. Akira moves out of range of the body kick from Ng.
#CL2# Ng closes the distance and pushes Akira back into the cage. Akira avoiding damage as Ng throws knees to the body.
#TD2# Ng lands a takedown into guard.
Ng with a flurry of punches that miss. Akira is trying to control the position from the bottom.
#SU2# Ng decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Akira tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ng paws at him with a jab and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ng swats away the attempt to clinch by Akira. Ng swinging wildly here.
Akira seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.#TD2# Ng closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ng lands in his opponent's guard.#T1##SUB2# Ng drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ng jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ng trying to control the position from guard on top but Akira is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Akira has Ng pulled in close to control his posture. Ng is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ng is looking to work some ground and pound but Akira has wrist control. Ng is pushing down on Akira's leg trying to pass to half guard. Akira is fighting to maintain full guard but Ng has managed to sneak the leg through. Ng prevents Akira from improving his position. Ng has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Akira knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ng on the ground.#SUB2# Ng is working for a submission of some sort.
#T2##SUB2# Ng has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Akira defend it? Ng steps over the head and cranks it - Akira is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ng!
