Boudreaux throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Petrescu.
Petrescu scores with a hook to the body. Boudreaux takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Petrescu lands a really nice looking cross but Boudreaux seems unphased. #CUT2#It looks like Chance Boudreaux has been cut.
Boudreaux with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Petrescu to score with a decent uppercut.
A telegraphed right hand from Petrescu misses the target.
Petrescu lands a lovely overhand right.

Petrescu plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Boudreaux to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Boudreaux just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Petrescu keeps the fight on the outside.
Petrescu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Boudreaux takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.#CUT2#It looks like Chance Boudreaux has been cut.
Boudreaux takes one to the side of the head.
Petrescu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boudreaux manages to avoid it.
Boudreaux went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Petrescu with the inside leg kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Petrescu. That snapped Boudreaux's head back.
Petrescu works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Boudreaux throws a head kick that Petrescu semi-blocks.
Petrescu lands with a right hand.
Petrescu cracks Boudreaux with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Boudreaux is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Boudreaux is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Boudreaux could not beat the count!

Chase unleashes a big counter combination but Boudreaux bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Boudreaux throws a head kick that misses.

Chase is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Boudreaux sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2#
Chase is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Chase passes to full mount!
Chase lands a big shot there that rocks Boudreaux but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Chase tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Boudreaux takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Boudreaux knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chase on the ground.#SU2#
Chase is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Chase looks for the body kick but Boudreaux saw that one coming.

As Boudreaux backs off Chase throws a huge counter combo but Boudreaux manages to avoid it all.
Boudreaux throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

No luck for Chase with that takedown attempt.
Boudreaux is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Chase.
Boudreaux displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Chase.

Boudreaux lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Chase changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boudreaux tries to avoid it but Chase manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boudreaux to the ground. Boudreaux escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A slapping body kick lands there for Boudreaux.
Boudreaux slaps away a takedown attempt from Chase, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Boudreaux tries to clinch there but Chase circles away. #CL2#
Chase moves into the clinch successfully.
Boudreaux tries to land a knee to the head but Chase blocks with his arms. #BC#
Boudreaux breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Chase shoots in looking for a takedown but Boudreaux manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chase's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Chase.
Chase is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#TD2#

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boudreaux has hold of Chase's hands but Chase slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Chase postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Chase just content to control the position.
Chase has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Chase creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Boudreaux sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Chase remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Chase has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Boudreaux is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Chase yanks on the arm and Boudreaux is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Chase.
