Rivers moves in looking to clinch but Sullivan pushes him off. Rivers shoots for a takedown but Sullivan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rivers tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sullivan defends well and Rivers ends up having to push Sullivan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Rivers keeps control of Reagan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Rivers is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
#T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Reagan is trying to drag Rivers to the mat but Rivers just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Rivers changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Reagan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Reagan shoots in and drives through. Rivers sprawls well. Rivers shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Reagan defends it nicely. Reagan went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rivers tries to close the distance and clinch but Reagan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tony Rivers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ethan Reagan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rivers shoots in for a takedown but Reagan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ethan Reagan. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Reagan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
