#R1# Seagal tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Basset is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Seagal with a body shot. Basset fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.#CL# Seagal clinches with his opponent.
#TD2# Basset turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Basset manages to end up in side control. Basset creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Seagal sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Seagal tries to get back to half guard but can't. We've been hearing good reports from Seagal's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.#SU2# Basset decides to stand back up. Seagal shoots in for a double leg but Basset sprawls well. Booker creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Basset sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Basset is looking to regain half guard here but Booker keeps moving and retains side control. Basset is working hard here to advance position. Booker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Basset is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Booker off and has taken his back!#SUB# Basset is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke.
