Tafari leaves Thomas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
It looked like Tafari was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Tafari is looking to clinch but Thomas is avoiding it.
Horrible takedown attempt by Thomas or perhaps it was just good defense by Tafari, which made it look bad.
Thomas fails with the takedown.
Jahmar Tafari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Thomas.
