#R1##TD# Bernard manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wolecki on his heels. He'll look to pass Wolecki's guard now, I'm sure. Bernard wants to pass the guard but Wolecki is keeping the position. Bernard controls from within his opponent's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wolecki can do anything to dispel that myth. Bernard loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bernard would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bernard looking to control the position here, rather than advance. #T1# The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Bernard wants to get up but he can't break Wolecki's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Wolecki fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bernard on the side of the head.#CUT2#It looks like John Bernard has been cut. Wolecki throws a looping overhand right but Bernard ducks down to avoid it. Wolecki avoids the head kick by Bernard.

#TD# and Bernard counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bernard. Wolecki being controlled here, momentarily. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wolecki holds on and takes a little breather. Wolecki is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.#T4# Bernard stays in close to Wolecki's body and controls the position. Bernard slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bernard gets to mount! Wolecki was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bernard lands with some strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bernard scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. That was a close round but I would say that John Bernard will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on John Bernard's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!#R2# Wolecki bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bernard's head backwards. Bernard tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wolecki swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wolecki loads up on a big right hand but Bernard slips the punch. Wolecki avoids the head kick by Bernard.
Bernard goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Bernard needs to keep his hands up - Wolecki had a free shot at his head there. Bernard uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wolecki. Wolecki showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bernard.

Bernard looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Wolecki finish him?
#CUT2#John Bernard's cut is getting worse.#T1# Wolecki weaves into range and cracks Bernard right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Bernard goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Wolecki is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

#R1##TD# Bernard scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Eiichi is looking to get back to his feet here but Bernard is keeping cool and he's managed to take Eiichi's back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Eiichi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bernard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Eiichi wants to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bernard scores with strikes from the back.
#SUB# Bernard sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Eiichi taps out!
