#R1# McKenna throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Qwerty's waist but Qwerty gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McKenna off to one side. Qwerty is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from McKenna. Qwerty looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Qwerty keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McKenna misses with a kick to the body.
Qwerty lands a nice shot to the body.
McKenna looks winded! Qwerty lands a jab to McKenna's midsection. McKenna takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
McKenna takes one on the button. Qwerty cracks McKenna with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends McKenna tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Qwerty pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! McKenna is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. McKenna is pulling down on Kurtovic's head to control his posture. Kurtovic prevents McKenna from getting back to his feet. McKenna controlling the position. McKenna throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
McKenna looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kurtovic wants to control from the top but McKenna keeps moving. Kurtovic is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. McKenna controls Kurtovic momentarily but Kurtovic frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pande fights it but they end up in guard. Pande has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. McKenna has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Pande is pressed up against the cage. McKenna has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pande down to the mat. Pande avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Pande will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

McKenna shoots in looking for a takedown. Banchamek tries to sprawl out of it but McKenna keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Banchamek manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. McKenna changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Banchamek tries to avoid it but McKenna manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Banchamek to the ground. Banchamek escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Banchamek appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Banchamek throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by McKenna. Banchamek throws a head kick that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL2# McKenna darts in and clinches Banchamek up against the cage. McKenna drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Banchamek gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Ostrowski wants to control from the top but McKenna keeps moving. Ostrowski won't allow McKenna to get back to his feet. McKenna tries to land a sweep but no joy. McKenna keeping moving, preventing Ostrowski from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
